At Student Financial Services, our objective is to streamline the financial aid process and simplify it as much as possible. We work alongside you and your allies to identify, teach, and provide you with the best possible financial resources available.

Your financial aid offer is determined by the information you and your family have provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To view your financial aid offer, simply log into the mySNHU student portal. The financial aid award may include scholarships or grants that do not require repayment, federal student loans that must be repaid, and federal work-study programs that must be earned.

If you decide to accept a Federal Direct Student Loan, please complete entrance loan counseling and sign a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note, both of which can be found and completed online at studentaid.gov. To apply for federal financial aid, visit fafsa.gov and use SNHU’s school code 002580.

In case you decide to reduce or decline your federal student loans, please fill out an award change request form. Our team can guide you through payment options, including enrolling in a payment arrangement with the Tuition Management System (TMS).

Take note of our important dates: The tuition statements will be available on July 6, 2023 (Fall semester 2023). The payment arrangements for your full first semester tuition balance must be made in full by August 4, 2023 (Fall semester 2023). BankMobile is a resource for securing your refund in case you have a surplus in your financial aid or from payments to your student account. Choose from depositing the funds into your current personal bank account or opening a BankMobile VIBE Account and being issued a debit/credit card. Please note that Direct Parent PLUS Loans and credit card payments are not eligible for BankMobile refunds.

All SNHU students are required to have health insurance. If you do not have coverage, you will be enrolled automatically in a plan through our university and billed annually for this charge. If you have private health insurance, you must complete a health insurance waiver form by August 4, 2023 (Fall semester 2023). The form can be obtained online through the mySNHU student portal and must be completed annually.
