Overview

Schools employ us to provide Blackbaud Tuition Management, where we serve as their agent for billing and receiving payments from Families. We collect data from two user groups; Families and School Users (i.e employees or authorized users of our school clients). If we process data differently for one user group, we will clarify that below. As a service provider for Schools, our use of Family and School User data complies with our agreements with Schools. If any restrictions on data use contradict anything mentioned below, our contract provisions will take precedence.

Data Collection Process

We do not collect any personal information unless you provide it voluntarily. "Personal information" refers to data that identifies you or allows us to contact you, such as your email address, name, or phone number. Typically, we request such information during contests, email subscriptions, online surveys, premium site accounts creation, Solution enrollment by School Users or Families, or when requesting information or acquiring the Solutions. It is possible to encounter screens or forms requesting information you do not want to share. If that happens, do not proceed with the screen or form. For Families, personal information may incorporate financial data (such as your credit card information) necessary for processing payments to our Schools.

Registering as a user permits you to personalize your experience. When you want to review or update your profile, visit parent.blackbaud.school or blackbaud.school to edit your account details. We will request your username and password, and only you can access your profile. Do not share your password with anyone. We also collect data through cookies as explained below.

Families must contact your School to request the removal of your data. As we act on your School's behalf to supply the Solution, we ask them to authorize the removal of your data so that they can make other arrangements for your Family’s payment of tuition. We limit access to the personal data collected about you on our website to our employees, our affiliates' employees, and others who need to know that information to provide services to you.
